Description "Audio Static" is a crackling sound in the audio track. It can be caused by interference with the original audio recording, the capture equipment or a corruption in the audio data.
Impact Audio Static is distracting to the member experience and can partially or completely obscure intended dialogue, music, or effects. Unintended signal noise or file corruption may also cause issues in any downstream assets created from the source asset.

How to Prevent Audio static often comes from a microphone or incidental sound during recording. It is important to monitor for these issues on the recording stage to ensure clean audio is captured.
How to Fix If dialogue is affected, replace it with alternate production audio or ADR. If music or effects are affected, replace them with foley effects, room tone, or clean music tracks.
