Frame Error - Blanking Shift
"Blanking shift" is the intermittent horizontal and/or vertical shift of the active image.
Blanking Shift impacts the Technical Quality of the asset. If severe enough, the member experience is impacted by the mid-scene shift of the image, and is not typically creatively intended. The technical health of the asset is adversely impacted due to the frame not completely filling the intended active image area.
Image jumps in position in an uncalculated manner.
How to Prevent:
Review for extraneous key-frames and improper rendering.
Check the key-frame for the particular shot and ensure that there are no additional marks where the position shifts. Check the frame sequence and ensure all frames were properly rendered, and replaced correctly.
