Extraneous Content - Dialogue
"Extraneous Dialogue" is additional dialogue information in an audio track that does not match with the visuals on screen. This may be a wild track line, a duplication of another line in the program, or temporary dialogue that has been left in the final program.
Extraneous dialogue impacts the Content Quality of the asset. The customer experience is adversely affected if Extraneous Dialogue is unrelated to the scene, or reveals story points at an unintended moment. Not likely creative intent given the context of the scene. Any derivatives of this asset will contain extraneous dialogue.
Dialogue is present but no characters are on-screen.
Dialogue from another scene or program is present. Characters are on screen moving their lips and the words do not match. Or scene has dialogue where there should be music.
How to Prevent:
Check for elements that look out of place, or have been duplicated. Keep temp tracks completely separate from final tracks to avoid cross-contamination.
Extraneous dialogue must be removed and replaced with correct dialogue or music/environmental effects.
Remove out of place audio and re-export.
