Mono Audio
Display Text Mono Audio
Description "Mono Audio" refers to the duplication of an audio track, eliminating any stereo or surround spatial separation/panning.
Impact Any missing spatial separation and/or panning effect gives the member an incomplete and incorrect experience. It will not fully reflect the creatively intended mix aligned with on-screen action.
Severity Assessment Guidance
FYI N/A
Issue Audio mix does not contain any stereo or surround panning between channels. Levels are identical across multiple/all channels through a scene/program where contextual cues would clearly indicate there should be at least some fluctuation. Mono audio is also clearly visible on a phase scope, where the audio signal exhibits zero phasing or panning between stereo pairs.
