From the Media Library page in Content Hub you will be able to release an asset. Releasing an asset makes it available to different domains or departments at Netflix. Most assets will automatically release to Netflix once the file has gone through any validations and/or the encoding pipeline. If you are unsure if you need to release your assets or what domains you should release to, please reach out to your Netflix Contact.
When accessing the Media Library page please note that the page will default to dark mode and if you need help navigating the Media Library page you can find help here.
Releasing a Single Asset Grid View
Hover over the asset you wish to release and then select the Release icon.

Select the teams you wish to release to and then enter any notes.

Select Release.

Your asset is now released and available for the teams you selected.
Releasing a Single Asset List View
Select the Release Icon from the right hand Actions column.

Select the box in the upper left of the thumbnail. Select Release located above your assets grid.

Select the box to the left of the row containing the asset information. Select Release located above your assets grid.
