SilenceInspector-AudioDropout

Error Message:

A block of complete silence was found at 00:20:00 with a duration of 22.5 seconds. Maximum allowable is 15 seconds.

Definition:

A large audio dropout was detected across all channels which is unlikely to be intentional. We ignore the first and last 60 seconds of the program to accommodate credits, dub cards titles, etc. The maximum allowed block of silence is 15 seconds.

Solution:

Review the section highlighted in the error message. It is likely that either an issue has occurred when you have processed the file or your source is missing audio content that you will need to replace.

If the use of silence is an intentional creative effect, please relay this information to your Netflix representative by commenting on the Source Request in Backlot.
