Incorrect Asset - Language 

Description:

“Incorrect Language” refers to an asset that was delivered with a spoken language other than the expected language of the asset. The audio language does not match the language code in the Source Request. 

Impact: 

The asset will not be consumable, as the language was not the intended selection by the customer and will not be understood.

The asset does not contain the expected language specified.

How to Prevent:

Review filenames in comparison to source request when delivering.

Listen for keywords in expected language.

Solution:

Verify the contents of the delivered file and compare the language present to the language code used in the Source Request. If the contents of the delivered file contains the correct language needed to fulfil the Source Request, please verify that the language code specified in the Backlot Delivery GUI was also correct. 

If an incorrect language code was selected during your delivery, then the issue can be corrected by performing a metadata only redelivery. Please reach out to your Netflix representative via Backlot to have them update the Source Request to "metadata only." They will communicate when you can then perform the redelivery.
