We have introduced several visual enhancements across the Request, My Tasks, and Dashboard in AssetQC, making the information available more clear and actionable.

If you need to return to the old version of the page for any reason, we’ve temporarily added a banner at the top of AssetQC that allows you to go back to the old experience.

Request Page

We’ve streamlined the look and feel of the page, increasing the readability of information by making better use of available screen space while maintaining the familiarity of the page.

  • Information in the QC Header has been updated and reorganized. Movie and Package IDs have been added to the header and removed from the “More Metadata” window. For bundled requests with multiple languages, the languages are presented in the same order as their associated task.

  • The Information icon (?) that opens the “More Metadata” modal window has been moved  closer to the information in the header and renamed as “More”. The layout of this window has been streamlined and is now much easier to read.

  • The “Required Assets” button has been renamed as “Download.” This provides clarity around the action the user intends to take when selecting.

  • We’ve made visual updates to the “Issues Flagged” panel that improve the clarity of information and available actions. For example, the “Clone” and “Edit” buttons are now text labels instead of icons.

  • The icon to export a QC Report has been moved to the bottom of the “Issues Flagged” panel, and is now more clearly displayed as the “Export Report” button.

My Tasks

We have removed the “Not Ready” section of the “My Tasks” page, and combined tasks in a Not Ready state in the “Manually Assigned” section. A “Not Ready” label will now appear on the cards for requests that are not ready. We also now will always display the “Open” and “Abandon Task” actions on the request’s card.

Dashboard

The Dashboard has received a visual update, but its functionality remains largely the same.

  • Due to low usage we have removed the “Alphabet” sorting menu that allowed you to filter QC Requests by titles beginning with a specified letter. This improves the loading speed of AssetQC and provides more screen space for the information you’re most interested in.
  • The “Organize” menu has been renamed to “Columns.” Its functionality remains the same, but its new name better reflects its function and aligns it with other applications in the Netflix studio ecosystem.

Contact Support

The “?” icon that opens a window to submit a ticket has been removed. Now, select the user profile icon in the top right of the screen and select "Support" to open a modal where you can open a ticket.
