Conversion Error - Digitization
“Digitization” refers to visible pixelation in an image, often due to scaling or a rendering error.
The image will appear to be pixelated, noticeably compressed or scaled. Image quality will be degraded and customer experience will be adversely affected.
Shot is of a much lower image and pixel quality than shots surrounding it. Noticeably blown up and the image lacks sharpness. Possibly due to rendering error or scaling.
How to Prevent:
Avoid using low-quality stock and archival footage when possible. Use footage that is of equal resolution to rest of content.
Shoot higher resolution than intended, in order to have room for scaling without compromising quality.
Shot or scene must be replaced with the same content in higher quality.
