Source requests traverse various states as they move through the Backlot delivery process. Changes between states will be triggered automatically based on certain conditions, namely QC status.
Open means that no deliveries have been attempted, a delivery is in progress, or that a delivery has been made but has failed automatic Inspection as a Service and the error flagged has not been overridden.
Processed means that an asset has been delivered and has passed automated inspections but has not yet passed manual QC.
Requested Redelivery means a previous delivery was rejected either by manual QC or Auto QC and is now open to take receipt of an updated file.
Rejected transfer state means that the asset has failed manual QC. The request will need to be manually re-opened by your Netflix Contact to allow for redelivery.
Failed transfer state means the asset has passed Inspection as A Service but has failed automated QC. You must redeliver the asset and the request will need to be manually re-opened by your Netflix Contact.
Accepted is a final request status for partners that indicates the asset has successfully processed through our systems, passed QC and has been accepted by Netflix. When a request transitions from Processed to Accepted, it means that no more additional work is required.
