A few quick updates from the color/imaging side:

:sparkle++: Pulls workstream  - Q1 Release notes :sparkle++:

  • 🎨 ACES 2.0 (Beta)
    • You can now use ACES 2.0 on both new and existing shows.
    • Extensive testing was performed to evaluate the implementation. We’ll be monitoring pilot shows and are reserving capacity to address issues as they show up.

  • 🎬 Camera Format Settings (CFS) is now a Table in footage management!

We’ve just updated the Camera Formats tab in Footage Management to make it faster & easier to find what you need:

  • Clearly shows the total number of available camera formats
  • Grouped view for cleaner organization and quicker scanning
  • Dropdown for sorting formats
  • Text search to instantly filter formats by keyword

  • 🧩 FDLs, IDTs & validation
    • If an FDL is missing during a pull, you’ll now see a warning instead of it failing silently.
    • We’re adding checks to catch invalid or incomplete FDLs upon upload

  • 🎛 Smarter color transforms
    • We simplified how and when gamut compression gets baked in.
    • You’ll now get clear QC errors when CLFs are missing or misconfigured during the pulls submission

  • 📦 AMFs & metadata
    • AMFs now support a working location tag.
    • Now users can configure AMFs at the project level, applying a specific look setting to all clips that don’t have an AMF.

  • 📨 NMD
    • Pulls sent to individual recipients can be received by NMD. This works out of the box, no need to upgrade NMD!
  • 👆 Ability to reassign clips
    • Now the support team can help productions reassign specific clips to other camera formats if users are blocked.
    • Soon we’ll release the ability to manually change camera formats from the clips UI.
