Mac Operating System  M Chipset and OS Ventura or Further
Windows Operating System  Windows 11 and a Intel i5/i7 or Ryzen 7/9, 16 GB RAM

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

Please check with your Netflix Representative before upgrading.

To ensure a seamless upgrade without interrupting your downloads, please follow these steps:

  1. Complete Active Downloads: Make sure all active downloads are finished and avoid starting new downloads during this process.
  2. Close the Application: After ensuring no downloads are running, close the Netflix Media Downloader Application.

Perform the Upgrade: Proceed with upgrading the application.

⏸️ Pause Auto-Downloads: Temporarily pause automatic downloads and resume them whenever you're ready. Paused transfers land on the "Needs Attention" page for easy bulk resuming.

🎯 Post-Download Actions (Beta): Automatically trigger a shell script after each transfer to streamline copies, antivirus scans, and other pipeline tasks.

👥 Better Shared Machine Support: Permission conflicts on shared machines are resolved — users without access will see failed downloads instead of being blocked.

🪟 Windows App (Beta): Try our new Windows version, now in beta, to manage and monitor transfers with the same experience you’re used to on other platforms.

  • Never drown in downloads: The app now collects and automatically pauses downloads received while it’s closed. Allowing you to take action whenever you are ready.
  • Bulk actions: Pause, resume, or cancel multiple downloads with a single click.
  • Grouped by status: Easily spot and resume paused or failed downloads in the new Needs Attention tab. View all your active transfers in the In Progress tab, and review cancelled or completed downloads in the History tab.
  • Advanced filtering: Find exactly what you need by filtering downloads by date, type, state, or name. With your newest transfers right at the top. 
  • Storage: We'll email you when your storage is almost full. So you never have worry about running out of space.
  • Expiring credentials: Quickly see in the app when your credentials will expire.
