Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
User not appearing in Members list. |
If you type a user’s name and they don’t show up at all, they do not have a Starship profile associated to a Vendor on the project. To fix this, you can create a Starship profile linked to the Vendor. If the user needs Follower access, be sure to assign the Dub Portal User role. If the user already has a Starship profile, but it’s linked to a different vendor, you’ll need to Create an Alias for the user. |
Unable to grant "Follower" access. | If you add a user and only see Script Viewer access, but want to add them as a Follower, you’ll need to add the Dub Portal User role to their Starship account. |
User reports playback issues on a mobile device or tablet. | The Authoring Tool does not support mobile devices or tablets. Advise the user to use the Google Chrome browser via a computer. |
