Users now have the ability to set a custom import profile as default when importing assets via the Asset Import tool in Content Hub (Footage Backup, VFX Plate Delivery, VFX Shot Delivery).  If you need a custom import profile please contact your Netflix representative.  

Setting Your Default Profile Footage Backup

Log into Content Hub, navigate to your project, and select the Assets Tab.

From the Library section select Source Materials and click the blue Upload button.

In the import window select your custom profile from the import profile dropdown menu.

Click the gear icon, select either Mark as Default (Project) or Mark as Default (Vendor)

After selected, the user can now see (default) next to the custom profile and you can proceed with your import or close the import window.

Setting Your Default Profile For VFX Plate Delivery  and VFX Shot Delivery

Log into Content Hub, navigate to your project, and select the Mailbox Tab.

Select New Submission and fill in any required information and click create. In this walkthrough we will be using the VFX Shot Delivery workflow.

Click Import from Workspace or Select from Asset Library from the drop down based on where your media lives. 

The import window is now visible. Select your custom profile from the import profile dropdown menu.

Click the gear icon, select either Mark as Default (Project) or Mark as Default (Vendor).

You will now see (default) next to your custom profile. You can now proceed with your submission or close the import window.
